The Nintendo DS
If anyone saw e3 this year, there is good reason for Reggie Fils-Aime to be happy. Wii sales are breaking records and it doesn't seem like its losing momentum, but what about the DS? With sales over 400 million, its obvious that the DS is dominating the PSP in the handheld department. When Sony realized this months ago, they responded by saying "We were beating them before the lite came out", and its true. The original DS was struggling to get sales until June 14th 2006 when Nintendo released its new DS, the DS lite.
Although some games are very mediocre on the DS, they have excellent games interesting to both casual players and hardcore players alike. With games like the newly released brain age 2, fans are still very excited with the DS and like Nintendo console, it doesn't look like the DS will become a thing of the past anytime soon.

Pokemon Battle Revolution
Pokemon hits the wii with online capabilities. This is the first online game for the the wii. Its the same old Pokemon in 3D. The Graphics are great this game has some of the best graphics I seen on the wii. You can use a rental pass to battle or take your Pokemon from Diamond or Pearl and transfer the Pokemon over. You have to battle in Colosseum's to get money to customize you character. Online for this game is good. You can battle a friend by exchanging friend codes or you can battle anyone from anywhere by going to battle someone. This game is the same Pokemon we grown to like so if your a Pokemon fan go out and buy it if not don't. -Lil Walt aka Ratedrko22
I give Pokemon Battle Revolution a 6/10
Mario Strikers Charged
Mario Strikers charged is the 2nd online game for the Nintendo wii. Mario strikers is like a 3 on 3 soccer game but with Mario characters. Everyones in there from Mario to Wario. Its a good game the graphics are good the game play is good. Online mode has a ranking system. If you challenge someone in a rank match and win you rank up even if you don't win the two games in the series and at least win one your still going to rank. You also got the friend code system which you pick a mii and that mii has a friend code and all miis have different friend codes, but you exchange friend codes to battle online with friends but those friend matches doesn't count as ranked matches. You also have the rode to strikers cup which you go up against the cpu and try to move on up wining trophies. Overall the game is good go pick it up. - Lil Walt aka Ratedrko22
I give Mario Strikers Charged a 7/10
Madden 08
Madden is back with and a little different. Well it has a new online mode for the wii. The online mode is great no friend codes, you can see how many people are online, you can send friend request to people you meet online, chat rooms to find friends and/or opponents. Theres a multiplayer party mode, in the party mode you challenge friends family in 22 mini games. You have weapons, not bats and guns but stuff to help your players stats in a game. The controls are not hard but not easy at the same time but once you get use to it its a fun. You use the nunchuck to juke left or right, you use the wiimote to stiff arm left or right. You pass by picking your Receiver and flick the wiimote and you can switch to the receiver after the ball is in air and run and try to catch the ball your self by putting the wiimote and nunchuck in the air and catching it.
For this game the controls are great and its fun. The online part helps. So if your a madden fan or not I think you should check this game out. - Lil Walt aka Ratedrko22
So I give Madden 08 for the wii. a 7.8/10
Big Brain Academy Wii Degree
Big Brain Academy Wii Degree is the thinking type of game. You and your mii go through school to test your knowledge. You have five subjects, Identify, Memorize, Analyze, Compute, and Visualize. Each subject has 3 sub-subjects. Which gives you different questions. The only way to make this game hard is to put it on hard. It has multi-player which you put your brain up against your friends and family. This game uses the wii connect 24 . It lets you send you send your record to people on your wii friend list. But if they don't have the game it doesn't matter.
I give big brain academy wii degree a 7/10.
Resident Evil 4
You play as Leon Kennedy. Yep, the very same new jack who got caught up in the Umbrella disaster in Resident Evil 2 on his very first day as Raccoon City Police lackey. Leon’s looking a little more GQ and a little less cross-country team these days, and he needs every whisker on his scruffy face to rescue the president’s daughter from a wanton cult hidden in the rural villages of Spain. The cult is protected by hordes of possessed villagers that won’t think twice about treating your noggin like a bail of hay. Crazed monks also make their plea for a nomination as best supporting suplex candidate. There are no zombies to see here, folks. Move along.
It’s no secret that old Leon snatches Ashley, the fruit of the president’s loins, back from the bad guys early on in the game. But the pair suffers a terrible twist of fate that only the trickling streams and abandoned farmhouses of the Spanish countryside can provide the answers to. While there are a couple typical Resident Evil moments, the dialog is well-written and voiced. Twisty and just flat-out twisted; the story serves as a perfect backdrop for heart-stopping gameplay that will make you wonder if you’re really playing a Resident Evil game.
The wii controls are very well EXTRODINARY i mean whenever you aim it responds very quickly i picked up this game about 2 days ago and have already beaten it capcom has also added a bit more features to this port the features that were not in the GCN version of RE4
Resident evil 4 for the wii gets a 9/10
Bleach Shattered Blade.
Bleach shattered is the anime/manga based game for the Wii. All Bleach fans know what bleach is for those who don't let me explain. Ichigo is a 15 year old student. His life was normal until Rukia, a Soul Reaper, flies to his rescue, introducing him to spirits known as hollows. Now it is his job to protect loss souls and humans alike from the soul devouring hollows. He's Known as a Substitute Soul Reaper. After awhile Rukia gets taken back to the Soul Society to get executed. Ichigo and friends must save her to so they go threw Soul Reapers and other obstacles to save her. Go check out the manga and show to learn more.
This game takes place in the Soul Society and everybody in episode mode needs to find the the shards of the Sokyuku for different reasons. When a person collect them all they release a hollow named Arturo Plateado.
You fight Arturo Plateado and beat him you unlock the next episode and maybe something else. You know when the episodes end when you get to Arturo Plateado episode. You also can play in arcade mode to unlock more characters. Theres a multiplayer mode for you and your friend, brother dad or even grandma can play. Theres also a training mode you can go threw to learn how to play and theres a practice mode where you just test your moves. Also theres Urahara Shop where you can buy things like characters models and songs and some scenes.
Now lets get to the controls. The controls are very easy to learn. The wiimote is your weapon...of course. If you play as a soul reaper like Ichigo or a Hitsugaya you have a sword in your hand but if you play with a character like Chad or Orihime you use other methods. But controlling everyone is the same old thing. You can swing the wiimote up and down, left and right, and forward to attack. You can hold the "A" button to do attacks that can break threw you opponent's block and you can hold the "B" button to do special moves. You hold the "C" button while you move to flash step. Theres a point in the match where a bar at the bottom of the screen goes all the way up and that means you shake the nunchuck and you can enter bankai or you get more powerful and you can use you Special attack. During your that special mode some characters get fasters some get slower but all gets a power boost. You'll notice you do the same thing for everybody but get different reactions. So it can get bored very fast.
The Graphics of this game is ok. The Replay value isn't very high. When it comes down to it bleach fans will like it. Its not enough to convert non-anime lovers to love this game. This isn't the fighting game Wii needs. Maybe Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 might be the fighting game Wii needs. So I give Bleach Shattered Blade for The Wii a 6 Bankai Grandmas out of 10. - Lil walt aka Ratedrko22
Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3(wii)
Dragonball Z is back on the wii and its better than ever. The new installment of DBZ has more characters and more modes. It even has a online mode. Your probably wondering is this the fighting game the Wii been waiting for. Well yes it is. Let me explain why.
First thing you'll notice about Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 it has better graphics and it has much more characters. Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 had around 120 characters Tenkaichi 3 has around 160. This is the largest character roster in any DBZ game. This game also has around 30 stages. But what makes some of these stages special is that some have a day time, afternoon, and night time. Some stages don't have that but some do. So if your gonna play with a character that turns into a great ape you'll want to be on a night stage if you want to transform.
The simplified control system is much more intuitive, with the Nunchuck analog stick controlling basic movement, the C and Z buttons for vertical movement and the A button is for melee attacks and B is for small ki blasts but it can be charged. Also you can do combos and dragon homing attacks with A and B. Each character also has three special attacks which mimic the Dragon Ball Z character making them more fun to do.
This game also has a better story mode called Dragon History. Also the tournament mode is good. There are 5 different tournaments you can enter you have the, World Tournament, The big World Tournament, The Cell Games, The Otherworld tournament, and the Yamcha Tournament. You do the tournaments for Z points or for free. If you do it for Z points only 1 person can enter, they choose the difficulty, and the higher the diffuculty the harder the fighters will be and the more Z points you'll get. You have the data center where you can input passwords to unlock special characters. You have Evolution Z where you can buy Z items and customize your characters. You have training mode where you can just practice with the CPU or you can learn how to do all the moves step by step. Last but no least you have dragon Net battle aka Online mode. The online mode is great you can have custom battles, normal battles rank battles and friend battles. One huge problem that online has is that is lags like crazy. The lagging is one of the problems with this game but not enough to make this game bad. Bottom line is Pick up this game its great. This is the fighting game the wii's been needing.
I give Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 a 9 out of 10
